HDSA National (Huntington's Disease Society of America) made available their December Newsletter.

It has been longer than I can remember since I last sat down to write an article for the Texas Website. I am hopeful that with the new format of the website, I will be able to update this section more frequently.

It's confirmed. We now have the 3rd Floor A Conference Room, in the South Tower at Seton Northwest Hospital for 2008.

In January only we will be meeting on THE SECOND THURSDAY on January 10th in the 3rd Floor A Conference Room.

Starting in February we will continue our regular schedule of meeting the 1st Thursday of each month.

Meeting times are always 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM.

Our December meeting included a nice collection of food including smoked turkey, dressing, various casseroles and even a healthy dose of brussel sprouts. I don't believe anyone went home hungry and most took home enough food for an extra meal.

I wanted to thank everyone for their help in making it a success. We even had a chance to meet a new Austin area HD family.
